Our client is a tradition-conscious and innovative global leader in the aerospace industry. In order to align and direct an established professional Inside Sales Team towards the needs of the future, we are looking for an experienced Manager Inside Sales m/f/d with leadership qualities for our headquarter in southern Germany with immediate effect.

Responsibilities:

After an intensive familiarization phase, you will act in this important function as a link between customers, production, sales and order processing. You will lead an Inside Sales Team, which you will motivate and support continuously. Your key responsibilities:

  • Lead and deploy technically and disciplinary assigned 8 employees according to their particular strengths and provide guidance, performance reviews, coachings and trainings
  • Monitor project and order handling “on cost – on time – on quality” until delivery to customer and coordinate all project handling related interfaces
  • Support of Key Account Managers ("Outside Sales")
  • Customer consulting for contracts already concluded as a competent discussion partner starting with daily customer enquiries and ending with complaint and escalation management
  • Handle incoming requests from customers and ensure that issues are resolved promptly and accurately. Continuously evaluate and identify opportunities to drive process improvements that positively impact our customer experience
  • Coordination of the marketing activities of the company
  • Analyze and optimize existing processes and structures as well as deduct and manage objectives, KPIs, budgets and schedules including the development and administration of meaningful reports and forecasts
  • Delivery and service accounting according to the respective process status
  • Direct Report to the VP of Sales and Marketing based in the USA

 

Requirements:

You will typically have a university degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience. The ideal candidate will have several years of documented international experience in a similarly aligned position in this sector. Distinct leadership qualities, persuasive power and credibility will be essential for this position to lead an Inside Sales Team in the global market towards the future. You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and build effective relationships inside and outside the company in a credible and representative manner and action. You will meet future challenges with a strong strategic orientation and act on your own initiative, with a high level of pioneering skills and customer-oriented thought and engagement, analytical competency and a keen sense of customer requirements. Furthermore, you will speak English fluently and have excellent MS Office skills.
